Going the Extra Mile did a superb job for me. It was the first time I had built a house. Cedric looked after me all the way because I was by myself. While doing the job, he thought of things that were needed that I never thought of. He explained what it was and explained how he would do it. Both my back and front yards have a fairly good slope. Every time he got the dirt prepped for the sod, it would rain, washing the dirt to the wrong places, and he’d have to do it all over again, which he did every time. At the end of the house where the crawl space door is, the yard slopped off. The builder was just going to leave it like that. Cedric built some nice steps with an iron handrail and a stone sidewalk going right up to the crawl space. It was nice and safer for me. He was out at my house every day for about 3 to 4 months making sure everything was just right! He and his men went the extra mile for me!

This was a large project that involved filling in a 9ft deep pool. To prevent sinking, they started with large rock in the bottom, then gravel, then a few feet of top soil. Everything went well and communication was very good.
